Following a well-attended Spring concert, we are now preparing for our Summer concert, to be held on Sunday 21 June at All Saints' Church, Lovelace Road, SE21 8JY, starting at 6.30pm.

The programme comprises Sterndale Bennett's overture The Naiades, Percy Young's Piano Concerto (soloist Michael Jones), Bernard Jupp's arrangement of National Folk Songs, and Peter Ilych Tchaikovsky's Suite No 1.

Admission free, but donations to running expenses and charity gratefully accepted.

Rehearsals are already under way at our usual rehearsal venue St Bartholomew's Church Hall, 159 Ellison Road, SW16 5DE. They start at 7.45pm. There are vacancies for competent lower strings.
